Explore & Enquire
Learners in this pathway use computing to explore media, solve problems, and build independence. They create animations, simple presentations, or surveys using structured programs. Coding is introduced through accessible, block-based tools where learners explore sequencing and instructions. Technology supports functional learning in other subjects and allows learners to make informed choices about which tools best support their communication and creativity. Online safety is woven into learning through discussion, role play, and visual scenarios.
Enquire & Beyond
Computing at this level prepares learners to use digital tools independently and safely across a variety of real-life contexts. Learners develop skills in planning, editing, researching, presenting, and managing files using mainstream and adapted software. Learners apply computing to cross-curricular projects, communication tasks, and work-related learning. There is clear alignment with accreditation requirements and readiness for the digital world beyond school.
