At Mayfield School our Functional Skills strand encompasses three subject areas; Maths, Science and Computing.
Maths: Mayfield School equips pupils with an understanding of mathematical concepts and the skills required to apply them to a wide range of challenges, both in their everyday lives and in the world of work
Science: Mayfield School develops pupil’s natural awe and wonder of the world around them, to equip them with a range of skills to enable them to ask questions about what is happening in front of them, and to draw conclusions on the evidence they have.
Computing: Mayfield School embraces technology to support pupils with their learning and to develop their understanding of how to engage with the ever-changing digital world around them effectively and safely.
